Here we take look at Torbay Pride Support (TPS) which was set up in July 2002 by a group of very committed volunteers who saw a need for such an organisation within the Torbay area. TPS raises money for charities and organisations that support the following groups within the Torbay area:

• Gay Men and Women
• People living with HIV and AIDS
• Individuals coming to terms with their sexuality

Their aim is to bring about less prejudice and bigotry coupled with improving the quality of life for those who maybe facing difficult and challenging times. As a non profit making, fully constituted group they have to date, raised monies in support of the following initiatives:

• Safe sex initiatives
• Sexual awareness programs
• Women's health fair
• Community workshops
• Gay support group
• One on one support and assistance

Torbay Pride Support is dependant on grants, voluntary contributions and members fundraising efforts. , and relies heavily on the generous support of many people. If you can spare them some time as a volunteer or assist them with the cost of providing our services they will be delighted to hear from you.
