bach flower remedy

What is it?

A gentle system of healing which works to bring about emotional balance. The remedies are prepared from the flowers of wild plants, bushes and trees - none of them are harmful or habit-forming. The remedies are not used directly for physical complaints but for difficult emotional states such as fear, apprehension, hopelessness etc., which can have a detrimental effect on general well-being.

Who can it help?

It can help anyone who wishes to work towards a more balanced emotional state

What happens in a session?

The session takes the form of a consultation, during which the clients situation is discussed and emotions identified which may be out of balance. Then the practitioner suggests a combination of remedies which will help to establish equilibrium, explaining to the client why the practitioner feels that the chosen remedies are appropriate. A treatment bottle is made up - giving instructions for dosage.

NB: It is helpful to have a series of follow-up sessions (the frequency to be agreed with the client), to monitor changes/progress.
